Hantaviruses are zoonotic viruses that can be classified in two groups: Old World and New World Hantavirus. The New World Hantavirus are responsible for the Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS) and Andes virus (ANDV) is one of the causative agents along South America.
