Coorbital asteroids & exoplanetsOur Solar system is plenty of examples of coorbital asteroids. The traditional Trojans and Horse-shoe asteroids were studied over decades but also there exists another kind of orbits possible within this resonance, that were discovered over the past 30 years. In contrast with others strong mean-motion resonances (MMRs), such as 2/1 and 3/2 MMR there aren´t any pairs known in coorbital configuration among the population of extrasolar planets. I will present some of the clues that could help us in understand this intriguing fact from the point of view of detection, their formation and subsequent dynamical evolution.
