Resumen:
We study the flux variations in the CaII K line due to chromospheric activity. Our observations are suitable for the study of variations with characteristic times of a few years, similar to those experienced by the Sun throughout its activity cycle. We present the observations of 20 solar-type stars (late F, G, and early K-types). In particular, we study 18 Scorpii (HD 146233), for which we compare and complement our observations with those obtained with the SSS at Lowell Observatory (Hall & Lockwood 2000, ApJL, 545, L43), thus observing a full cycle.
