Resumen:
The purpose of the present work is to implement a comparative study of psychoanalytical and cognitive intervention modalities. A group of psychotherapists from both theoretical frames will be given a questionnaire directed to learning the kind of interventions they use in the treatments they offer and the way they apply them. Based on this questionnaire, interventions used by the group of psychotherapists will be studied assessing if they mention using interventions of their specific therapeutic, unspecified interventions and interventions that correspond to other theoretical frameworks. Likewise, in each case the most frequently used interventions will be analyzed as well as if there are some interventions used more or less recurrently in certain moments of the session and of the complete psychotherapeutic treatment.  Finally, the therapeutic use of sequences or joint interventions will be studied. The classification of interventions on which this work is being based was developed by Roussos, Waizmann and Etchebarne (2003). In the present research, the interventions will be analyzed in three different levels: descriptive, content and time and space orientation. Key words: interventions, psychoanalytic theory, cognitive theory, descriptive level of interventions, content related level of interventions, time and space level of interventions.
