Resumen:
In this contribution we analyze two groups of stars that are crucial to our understanding of the planet-metallicity correlation. On one hand, we compare the distribution of metallicities of T Tauri stars and Main Sequence stars with planets. On the other hand, we compare the metallicities of a small sample of giant stars with planets and a control sample. For  giant stars, we derive fundamental stellar parameters obtained with an automatic code that provides Teff, log g, Vturb and [Fe/H] from high S/N spectra. The initial trends in both samples (T Tauri and giant stars) support the accretion hypothesis for the planet-metallicity correlation. However statistical significant samples are required to put these initial results on solid grounds.
