Resumen:
In this contribution, we present a mid-infrared (8-13 microns) spectrum of ISO-ChaI 192, a pre-main sequence FU Orionis variable star embedded in the Chamaeleon I molecular cloud. The observations were obtained with the T-ReCS (Thermal Region Camera Spectrograph) at the Gemini South observatory. This instrument was used in the low-resolution 10 micron mode. We present an initial qualitative analysis of this spectrum in which we observe a predominance of amorphous silicate of small size (0.1 micron) of the olivine type. However, we also observe profiles of processed silicates of crystalline type (magnesium silicates). We find no evidence for the presence of PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon), a molecular compound usually found in the disks of T Tauri stars. Based on the identified elements, we discuss the evolutionary stage of the disk associate with ISO-ChaI 192.
