Resumen:
S. aureus is the ethiological agent most commonly associated with bovine mastitis, infectius disease with a strong economic impact. The objetive of the present work was to investigate de efficacy of a live avirulent S. aureus vaccien under field conditions. Results showed that immunization of dairy animals with strain RC122 provides protection in cows demostrated by a significant reduction in bacterial infections with an efficacy of 70%.
