In this presentation, I will offer an overview of the main modes of intercultural collaboration between institutions of higher education in Latin America and organizations and/or communities of indigenous and/or Afro-descendant peoples, in which the production of knowledge and technologies, and/or the training of professionals and technicians, are combined in diverse ways with actions aimed at improving the quality of life of these peoples.
