Resumen:
This work presents thermal and electromagnetic properties of sediments with different tetrahydrofuran (THF) hydrates. The impact of specific surface, porosity, hydrate saturation and confining pressure is analyzed. The mechanical measurements show that sediment properties depend mainly on the stress level before hydrate formation while the stiffness depends on the hydrate concentration after hydrate forms. Thermal measurements show that with or without hydrate the thermal conductivity of sediments depends mainly on the particle contact.
