Resumen:
Mesoporous Ti-containing materials have been synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis at 100°C and compared with pure siliceous MCM-41 prepared at the same conditions. The structural and textural properties are compared by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and nitrogen adsorption – desorption measurements. The N2 adsorption – desorption isotherms; total pores volume, pore size distribution and specific surface area are evaluated. The effect of different parameters of synthesis on the physical properties of material, such as surfactant nature, synthesis time and Ti content, are been studied. All samples showed DRX patterns typical of MCM-41 structure. The synthesis time results a critical variable to obtain good structures. Although an increase of Ti loading decreases the mesopores order, separate anatase phase was not observed for any sample. The pores volume and pores mean diameter are slightly increased in the Ti-MCM-41 samples. According to DR-UVvis, the Ti species are localized into the silica framework in tetrahedral positions.
