Improving The Identification of System of Galaxies and its Statistics

We introduce a new halos identification criterion in real datasetsbased on the halo model. Such criterion is tested on mock catalogs build up on the Millennium simulation, and applies to the SDSS-NYU-DR4 catalog. By  developing a new, uniform dark matter halo selection criteria we have created one of the most larger, most uniform system of galaxies catalog with well  determined selection functions. Some results are described, related with the halo occupation distribution  and the properties of the baryonic component. We also present a study of the properties of the most brigth galaxy in the halos and satellites  separately using several statistical tools and subsamples
