Resumen:
The main scientific goal of this paper is to determine the relative scientific productivity, as measured by the number of papers published in international index publications, of the argentinean astronomers in different research areas of this discipline. Throughout the decade 1995-2004 a growth in the net production as well as in the number of researchers has been found. Though almost 53 % of the total number of papers are published in the fields Stars and Galaxies, when the mean number of papers per researcher is evaluated, the fields Processes and Physical Data (5,5 papers/researcher) and Solar System (5,8 papers/researcher) are above the average (4 papers/researcher). Variations in the productivity evolution has not been significant between areas. FULL TEXT IN SPANISH
