Resumen:
Disc galaxies obey a number of correlations between intrinsic observational parameters such as lightness (L), rotation velocity (V) and scale radius (R). Relation of Tully & Fisher (1977) (L ~ V3.5) is undoubtedly the most studied and best established from the observational point of view. It is believed that this scaling relation reflects correlations between the intrinsic properties of halos of dark matter surrounding these galaxies. However, from a theoretical point of view, it is not clear the origin and temporal evolution of this relation.
