Resumen:
We generalize the renormalization procedure for quantum scalar fields in curved spacetimes to the case of modified dispersion relations. We first describe the analysis for spatially flat Friedman-Robertson-Walker and Bianchi type I metrics using the WKB expansion. Then we present a power counting analysis for general background metrics in the weak field approximation.
