Resumen:
A binary additive communication channel with different noise processes is analyzed. Several noise processes are generated according to Bernoulli, Markov, Polya, and Logarithmic distributions. A noise process based on the two dimensional Ising model (Markov 2D) is also studied. In all cases, a maximum likelihood decoding algorithm is derived. We obtain interesting results since in many cases, the most probable code-word is either the closest to the input, or that farthest away, depending on the model parameters.
