Resumen:
Ten samples of ZrxNbyFez alloys with different x, y (y £ 15 at.%) and z (z £ 38 at.%) contents were studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy (MS) complemented by microanalysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and metallographic techniques. MS is useful to make a precise phase analysis due to its high accuracy in determining the existence of Fe-bearing phases.             The expected phases corresponding to the ZrFe binary system were found and characterized. Two ternary phases were also established; one of them was a (Zr Nb)2 Fe cubic phase of the Ti2Ni type and the other one, a Zr(NbFe)2 hexagonal C14 Laves phase. The corresponding Mössbauer parameters for all the phases were quoted and information about their relative contribution for each composition was given.
