Resumen:
In this work we report the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanowires based on iron oxide. The nanowires were obtained through the anodic nanoporous alumina lling with a inorganic precursor in a specic concentration. The process is performed using a method developed in our group which allows the formation of the crystalline phase inside the
nanoporous substrate by a controlled heat treatment. Such synthesis process allows control the nanowires growth, which denes the morphology and physical properties of the obtained nanostructure (for example, magnetic behavior and transport properties).
The nanowires were characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy and High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy.
The nanowires magnetic properties were studied by dierent measurements: Magnetization Zero Field Cooling,Magnetization Field Cooling, and Magnetization vs Applied Field curve. The characterization of the physical properties was complemented by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance measurements.
The studies performed indicate the formation of nanowires built by a compact stacking of nanoparticles based iron oxide.
The shape of the stacking, in uenced by the geometry of the nanopore wherein the nanostructure is conned, indicates a crystal texture which determines a magnetic texture.
