Ontologyanalysisiscurrentlyoneofthemainstepsinmostofgenomic/proteomicexperiments.Itisusuallycarriedouttoclassifyidentifieddifferentiallyexpressedgenesaccordingtotheirfunctions,thusidentifyingenrichedbiologicalpathwaysintheexperiment.ThereareplentyofbioinformatictoolstodealwiththemsuchasDAVID,GOMINER,etc[1].Thesetoolsentailthefulfillmentofdifferentrequirements,beingoneofthemtheselectionoftheReferenceGeneList(RGL)usedtocontrasttheDifferentiallyExpressedGeneList(DEGL).InthisworkweshowthattheidentificationofenrichedtermscoulddependsontheselectedRGL.
