Resumen:
It is presented a simple control strategy based on the simultaneous action of a PID controller working in the time domain and a PI controller working in the frequency domain. It is shown that the proposed control strategy improves the performance of a conventional PID controller within the frequency range where the waterbed effect becomes dominant. Simulations and experimental results are discussed. The proposed solution is particularly useful when selected harmonic components should be rejected without affecting others.
