This writing is a brief synthesis of what has been the theoretical and methodological tour of my proper doctoral thesis Cultural Consumptions in the frame of the Cultural Program in Neighborhoods. Practices and senses of the young. In these lines show certain representations and meanings identity that there do the young of average sectors in Buenos Aires?s city from your cultural practices. For this, interrogate a nucleus of specific discussions around the relation among young, culture and public policies. In the first part, I will do a brief introduction from how I came to the topic, from the questions that I have raised, will describe the aims that I have chased and the principal topics that I have developed. In the second part, I will recount to the theoretical discussions that I have confronted with diverse authors. I have organized these discussions in three fundamental axes referred to the conceptualizations on cultural Consumptions, cultural Policies and Youth. Finally, I will outline which are the relevant contributions of my research to the raised problematic; the topics that it makes opened this work and the new questions that have been constructed.
