Resumen:
The majority of suspended solid photoreactor kinetic studies have considered perfect mixing conditions and have not performed a deep study of possible mass transport limitation effects in the performance of this kind of photoreactor. In the present work, the problem of the existence of diffusion control regimes in slurry photocatalytic reactors employing titanium dioxide is studied with simulation experiments in an existing reactor.
