Determination of the Galactic star formation rate by means of dynamical simulations of open clusters

              We study the history of the star formation rate and the evo-lution of the Galactic disk by means of dynamical simulations of openclusters. We have included in our simulation dissolution effects due tostellar evolution, tidal stripping and the effect of passages through thespiral arms. We compare the simulated age distribution with the observeddistribution of open clusters in the Solar neighborhood.
