Resumen:
Monte Carlo (MC) simulations are presented in which the phase behavior of colloid-polymermixtures and of colloidal liquid crystals is investigated. The simulations demonstrate that colloidal systems are good model systems to study the critical behavior of confined systems and the phase behavior of liquid crystals.
