Resumen:
We developed a Stochastic Spatial Model for Aedes aegypti. The Model consists in a non-linear Markov process with only a few parameters such as Temperature (T), availability of breeding sites (BS) and dispersal coefficients (disp). The non-linearities are introduced through the regulatory mechanism of the population: the intra-specific competition in the larval stage. The model is a an explicit spatial model were the space is represented as a collection of patches where the Aedes aegypti local dynamics and the interactions among patches are specified. A mesh or grid of patches is considered and the interactions among them are fixed through population migration coefficients.
