Resumen:
Coronal ejective events, as well as the regular solar wind, expel plasma from the Sun into the
interplanetary medium. The link between the solar sources and the interplanetary consequences
of these two phenomena will be reviewed in this talk. Interplanetary coronal mass ejections
(ICMEs) are considered to be the interplanetary counterparts of coronal mass ejections (CMEs).
The association between both phenomena is determined taking into account the CME source
region position on the Sun, the time delay expected between the CME initiation and "in situ"
observations, and/or by comparing the orientation of the coronal and interplanetary \in situ"
magnetic elds. Several recent studies have analysed this connection in a more quantitative way,
combining multi-wavelength remote sensing and \in situ" data, together with magnetic eld
modelling in both domains. On the other hand, the sources of the slow solar wind have been
searched for by determining the topological origin of active region outows in solar spectrometer
data and their traces in \in situ" measurements. We will discuss the trends found in both kinds
of studies and how these analyses can help us to constrain our modeling, both at the coronal
level and in the interplanetary space.
