Spitzer IRS Mapping of NGC 1068

Using IR Spitzer archival data for the nearest AGN NGC 1068, we constructed a spectroscopic data cube of its central region. We considered full spectral coverage from 5 to 15 micrometers. We analyse the continuum due to dust and stars, as well as the emission lines due to ionized gas and molecules, mainly PAH features, by means of PAHFIT and PAHTAT tools. We obtained dust temperature and PAH parameters for the whole central region of NGC 1068 and analyse its behaviour by means of the diagnostic diagrams.
