Resumen:
The usual definition of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) involves an appreciable release of energy that cannot be explained by stellar process. However, quantifying the shape and amount of this non-stellar continuum is not an easy task, the main difficulty arising from the fact that the observed flux contains an appreciably contribution of the stellar emission from the host galaxy. Here we analize the non-stellar continuum and host galaxy properties of about 130 nearby (z0.1) AGN of the type Narrow Line Seyfert 1, which are supposed to be at the lower end of black hole masses and at the same time at the highest accretion rates regimes. Our results include determinations of black hole masses, accretion rates, kinematics and state of the ionized gas.
