Long Term Performance of the Surface Detectors of the Pierre Auger Observatory.

The Surface Array Detector of the Pierre Auger Observatory consists of about 1600 water Cherenkov detectors.The operation of each station is continuosly monitored with respect to its individual components like batteries and solarpanels, aiming at the diagnosis and the anticipation of failures. In addition, the evolution with time of the response andof the trigger rate of each station is recorded. The behavior of the earliest deployed stations is used to predict the futureperformance of the full array.
