The aim is the production of an immunoagglutination kit for diagnosing the Chagas disease. The work involves 5 stages: 1) controlled synthesis of latex particles; 2) surface and size characterization of the particles; 3) expression of the recombinant protein of T. cruzzi; 4) sensitization of particles with the antigenic proteins; and 5) application of the latex-protein complexes in the immunoagglutination assay.
