Resumen:
Basically, thermal insulation materials are used to retain the cold or temperature control. Energy as heat has a monetary value represented in the refrigerants economy. Thermodynamically, when energy is used to produce cold, the heat flow is from the outside to inside, therefore, the thermal insulation helps save much of the required energy for this process and optimum insulation makes equipments more efficient and work with lower costs. In this work, the optimum insulation in the refrigerant pipelines of a winery, medium-sized,located in the province of San Juan was calculated. At present, this establishment does not have insulation in your pipes, the heat loss without the incorporation of this material was calculated, also the same calculations were performed with different insulators. Subsequently, the optimum thickness of each insulator to achieve the desired results, taking into account the economic aspect was determined. Finally, the insulation used in this case, taking into account efficiency, energy savings in economic terms and cost was determined.
