Resumen:
I will argue that, as a result of a methodological congruence, Durkheim thinks of objectivities in a phenomenological way. To make my point I will disclose in "The Elementary Forms of Religious Life" the practice of some basic steps of the phenomenological method, such as the phenomenological reduction, the eidetic variation and genetic analysis. Finally, I will argue that Durkheim`s work challenges the disciplinary boundaries between sociology, history and philosophy.
