Resumen:
Efforts have been done in the last years in order to save in digital form a considerable amount of ionospheric data collected between 1959 and 2006 in three Argentine stations: Buenos Aires (36°30'S, 60°00'W), Ushuaia (54°79'S, 68°23'W) and Trelew (43°12'S, 65°16'W). The data set were obtained by mean of iononosondes operating by SIID (Servicio Naval de Investigación y Desarrollo) and they have used very limitedly for studies until now. Results of the analysis of the variations of the F2-region critical frequency (fof2) under different seasonal and solar activity conditions are presented. Some results are compared with the corresponding IRI-2007 predictions.
