Resumen:
Linear trends were computed for each one of the stations in Argentinean Chaco over the periods1960-2007, 1970-2007 y 1980-2007. Rainfall decreased from 1980 in most part of the study area, especially in Tucuman, east of Jujuy, north of Formosa and east and center of Chaco provinces. This result suggests that there is evidence that rainfall has experienced recent changes in the Chaco plains last century. These changes may be due to both, natural and anthropogenic causes and modifications in soil coverage must be considered to aboard the problem. The spectral analysis determined the presence of 22, 8 and 6 years cycle in the same area.
