The state of the development in the Argentine National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) of the solar arrays for SAOCOM-1A and Aquarius/SAC-D satellite missions is presented. These activities are performed within the frame of a cooperation agreement between CNEA and the Argentine National Commission for Space Activities (CONAE). Tasks performed in the most relevant issues are described: installation of the integration facility, development of fabrication and testing techniques, simulation of the solar array performance, and development of a facility for testing solar cells and other satellite devices in simulated space environment. Finally, the integration and testing of an engineering module for the qualification of the technology are reviewed.
