The uncertainty and having to "invent" themselves permanently has become for many a way of life. As part of these changes have created new benchmarks for non-traditional processes of growth, socialization and professional and social integration of new generations. In this context it is possible to identify some common features, although present with varying degrees of intensity, between youth transitions in Europe and Latin America. This presentation will discuss some types and aspects of transitions to employment and adult life from a longitudinal perspective relating to the "case" argentino. In 2008 the project began occupational insertion of graduates from middle school: 10 years later, that develops in the FLACSO with funding from the S & T, a longitudinal study initiated in Argentina in 1999 in a recession and economic crisis. As results of the study, we have been able to identify different ways to make transitions to adulthood that still coexist today. At one extreme are those in which early school leaving and rapid domestic labor market and set the stage. At the other extreme are those transitions that reconstruct the life journey of the young "globalized", where the delay of "activities" socially associated with adulthood is an everyday occurrence. Forming a diverse base to develop youth transitions. In this paper presents preliminary results on a new telephone follow-up conducted in March 2011 on the sample of graduates from 1999. The operation relieved the inclusion data related to education, employment and autonomy from family homes in the period studied. And also sought views on different issues related to living conditions, family and division of labor within households.
