Resumen:
Geometric quantum computation studies and applies geometric properties of quantum systems to create quantum logic gates. It is known that an adiabatically evolving system driven by a non-degenerate Hamiltonian exhibits a phase factor that is purely geometric under a cyclic evolution. Nevertheless, the adiabatic condition usually implies long evolution times, and then “Shortcuts to Adiabaticity” (STA) techniques must be applied to obtain high-fidelity gates even in the fast-driving regime. In this work we propose a single-qubit geometric quantum gate where the Dressed-states (DS) formalism is applied as an STA protocol to make the system evolve adiabatically. We consider a two-level system driven by a microwave field and study the fidelity of the gate under errors of the control Microwave field and decoherence provided by the environment
