In recent years the idea of studying quantum systems resources (like their coher-ence, entanglement, etc...) has increased in popularity because it gives a view of thepossible transformations that may be accomplished. Nevertheless, identifying thecloseness of the target state to be transformed is still an open topic on QuantumInformation Theory. Quantum Fidelity has been widely accepted by scientific com-munity to perform those comparisons, but it doesn’t take into account the nearnessof their resources . In the present work we give an overview of some of the distancesthat could be defined on the Majorization lattices of quantum states and we try tojustify why, in the cases of Majorization based resources are better than the Fidelity.
