Resumen:
This paper exposes and analyses two cases of reception of Dante’s political philosophy in the Renaissance: Coluccio Salutati and Marsilio Ficino. Salutati’s lecture on Dante underlines some democratic and aristotelian features of Dante’s Convivio; on the other hand, Ficino’s focuses the monarchical and platonic aspects of Dante’s Monarchia. This paper aims at showing the conditiones sine qua non of these different recepcions during the Renaissance.
