Resumen:
Abstract. Although there is access to QGIS, ArcGIS, MappingGISplatforms, with extensive historical and current information, environmentaland spatial data, paradoxically, there is little analysis of the datafrom these platforms on urban structures that contribute to decisionmaking, and even less on informal settlements; Paradoxically, there islittle analysis of the data from these platforms on urban structures thatcontribute to decision making, and even less on informal settlements, westart from this problem question: the lack of knowledge coupled with littleuse or implementation of geoinformatics in municipal planning offices, have allowed the uncontrolled and uncontrolled growth of informal settlements, therefore, their problems are becoming more complex everyday? In addition to this hypothesis, could we infer from geoinformaticspossible solutions to informal settlements, guiding the steps of governmentauthorities, seeking to support decision making, promoting welfareand protection of vulnerable communities there? In this exercise, which will be presented with the support of geoinformatics, we intend topresent the results of a comparative analysis on issues related to criticalenvironmental aspects in informal settlements -such as water coursesand flood plains-. Seven informal settlements are analyzed: three in LaPlata (Argentina), two in Mocoa and two in Villavicencio (Colombia). The method seeks the interrelation of geometric information from pointclouds, and radiometric information from orthomosaic images of PilotedAerial Systems (RPAS), to then classify the variables, with the objectiveof generating new information derived from the analysis, which. Theimages resulting from the crossing of information generating new spatialitieswill be made available to communities, public and private entities.
