The United Nations estimates that during the period 2030-2035, there is expected to be an increase in demographic aging in Latin America and Caribe. Given this growth, gerontechnology focuses on research to maintain functional and cognitive capacity during aging, as well as advancements in technologies. Frequently, findings on the use of applications are positive and have favorable effects on preventing risk factors related to neurodegenerative diseases (Lorens et al., 2019; Adcock et al., 2022; Joquera-Caseres et al., 2023). Particularly, in an article published in Lancet in 2017, the influence of cognitive stimulation as a preventive strategy in dementia was explained (Giraldoni., 2019). Consequently, based on this background, it is relevant to develop technological devices designed for the elderly with the aim of providing cognitive stimulation and preventing diseases such as Alzheimer´s and various forms of dementia. With this purpose we created an app for cognitive stimulation based on a web laboratory called LABPSI. The aim of this poster is to study the feasibility in a sample of Argentinian elderly.
