Resumen:
Strontium titanate (STO) has a perovskite-type structure (ABO) which atoms can easily be substituted by transition metal dopants (usually abundant and low-cost elements). This modulates the STO physicochemical properties (magnetic, electrical, catalytic, etc.). This feature that is advantageous vs. TiO3 , where Cr transforms anatase into rutile, thus losing the desired properties.
