This work showcases an initiative wherein postgraduate astronomerswere trained in software engineering to design and develop tailored toolsfor advanced astronomical research. The outcome resulted in the creationof new software crafted to address unique challenges in astronomy. Thesetools can transform the way astronomers conduct research and have ledto a series of publications, highlighting the success of the collaborationbetween astronomers and software developers.
