Resumen:
The El Tigre Granitoid, Sierra de Pie de Palo, Western Sierras Pampeanas, experienced strong ductile deformation restricted to narrow mylonite zones and partial dynamic recrystallization, partly destroying and/or obliterating former relict igneous and regional metamorphic assemblages. Microstructural analysis suggests the predominance of brittle and low-temperature plastic processes during mylonitic deformation. New paragenetic associations indicate low-T greenschist facies retrogressive conditions; temperature conditions could be assumed to have been in the order of 300-400°C.
