Shortcuts to Adiabaticity in the Dynamical Casimir Effect

Shortcuts to adiabaticity (STA) are relevant in the context of quantum systems, particularly regarding their control when they are subjected to time-dependent external conditions. In this talk, we will describe the exstence of STA in the context of he dynamical Casimir effect in 1+ 1 dimensions. We will also discuss the completion of a nonadiabatic evolution into a shortcut to adiabaticity in this context. Additionally, we will draw the attention to the existence of a comparable problem within nonrelativistic quantum mechanics.
