Resumen:
In this paper I intend to trace elements of the Judeo-Christian tradition in late Heidegger. My hypothesis is that behind the concept of the “history of being” (Seinsgeschichte) there is an assumed eschatological view of history that is heir to his early Christian background. In order to demonstrate this hypothesis I will first analyse how Heidegger interprets the concept of “parousia” and “eschatology” in one of his first lectures in Freiburg, The Phenomenology of Religious Life. Then I will try to show how these concepts reappear secularised in his late philosophy, specifically in his conception of the history of being. In book Abendländlische Eschatologie Western Eschatology of Jacob Taubes he speaks of a philosophical eschatology, how in the West the concept of eschatology became present in different philosophers who were not strictly Christian. this means the expectation of a coming kingdom, a coming of a better future. He analize the. Presence of this concepots in authors such as Lessing, Marx, Hegel, Kirkegaard, but sadly not Heidegger. However, we can think of Heidegger as part of this group.
