In the last decade, lanthanides have become the subject of multiple studies due to theirimportance in technological applications. This work aims to systematically study the energy lossof protons on the fifteen lanthanides, from lanthanum to lutetium. Inner-shell and conduction electron contributions are considered independently.We employ a many-electron model for the former and a combination of perturbative and non-perturbative free electron gas approaches for the latter.
