Resumen:
The objective of this work was to link the phenotypic changes of peanut plants inoculated simultaneously with Bradyrhizobium sp. SEMIA6144, Bacillus sp. CHEP5 and Sclerotium rolfsii, with variations in molecules involved in peanut responses to each microorganism. We found that PX activity associated with the response to S. rolfsii is induced earlier and higher in plants inoculated with the three microorganisms that in plants inoculated only with the pathogen. This result is congruent with a more tolerant phenotype to S. rolfsii in co-inoculated plants. On the other hand, the presence of Bradyrhizobium sp. SEMIA6144 negatively affected the phenolic compounds accumulation induced by the biocontrol bacterium Bacillus sp. CHEP5. However, the protection of these bacteria against S. rolfsii was not modified. Expression levels of the symbiotic gene SymRK remains unaltered in plants interacting with the three microorganisms respect to plants inoculated only with the microsymbiont, in concordance with their symbiotic phenotypes. Our results demonstrate that each molecular pathway triggered in peanut when interacts with only one of these microorganisms is modified in presence of the others. In some cases, it was possible to link phenotypic changes to variations in molecules involved in the biological effect induced by each microorganism.
