Resumen:
>In this work we present a rock magnetic study of one core, LCACH19-4, collected at Lake Cari-Laufquen Chica (Río Negro, Argentina). An analysis of rock magnetic data suggests that the remanence signal is carried by titanomagnetite grains in stable pseudo single domain (PSD) state. Variation of concentrationdependent parameters show a pronounced changes as well as the sedimentological description, which suggests that the core can be divided into three magnetic zones. Water-level and energy fluctuations are clearly reflected in the lithological composition of the studied sediment core.
