Resumen:
CLIMATE CHANGE is a Public Interest Problem or PIP (Gusfield 2014; Parsons W. 1995) that is characterized by its development within the framework of complex cognitive relationships and high levels of risk and controversies. In this type of problem, the intervention of government agencies occurs in the form of regulatory actions on knowledge and technologies. The success of these interventions is associated with the quality of disputed knowledge and the legitimacy of decision-making procedures. For this, it is necessary that scientists, governments and social agents interact to co-produce relevant and robust knowledge that supports collective action.Co-production has been proposed as the way to facilitate the best relationship between society and scientific research and the justification of the use of expert knowledge. (Hidalgo, 2017) (Jasanoff 2004). However, the concept has multiple interpretations and uses.In this pápér we will talk about: - Climate change as a problem of public interest and its STS approach - Global climate policy co-production: IPCC- Postnormal Science and Extended Assessment Community- What is the involvement of climate youth in the co-production of climate policy? - Traits of ongoing research: methodology and advances- Conclusions
