The increase in GHG emissions, especially CO2, is one of the most pressing issues due to its impact on global climate change. Among studies aiming at new technologies to replace the current ones, which are based on absorption with amine solutions at high temperatures, adsorption with activated carbons (ACs) is attractive because it involves lower energy requirements as well as investment and operating costs, as main comparative advantages [1].
